Simon’s pressure washes all types of surfaces including sandstone, limestone, concrete, concrete aggregate, asphalt, tiles, pavers and marble to name a few.

We pressure wash paintwork at a lower pressure on request though for painted surfaces we recommend our house wash process as it is far less likely of damaging the paint.

This is not ideal however as any pressure has the potential to damage wood fibers.

Simons primarily uses a truck mount 21 liter per minute pressure washing machine. Industry standard and insures the job will be completed in a efficient manner. 

We also have a smaller MOBILE 15 liter machine that can be taken to places where our 60 meter hose can’t reach

Our machines are rated to 4000psi, however at this pressure most concrete and stone will break so we generally use nozzles that will decrease our working pressure to 2000 – 3000psi whilst at the same time maximizing volume. 

Simons uses a combination of both a high strength degreaser as well as chlorine diluted.

Degreaser is used to lift dirt, chlorine to kill organics such as moss, algae and lichen.

In some cases where build up of organics is heavy it is recommended to both pre and post treat surfaces.

Simons implements best practice not only with plants but all surfaces not intended to be cleaned, namely, to pre and post rinse plants and surfaces with water.

Our detergents will only interact as they start to dry, keeping everything wet will mitigate any adverse reactions

We do, however efflorecence especially can be a time consuming process. 

Repeated applications of acid are needed as well as agitation. 

Efflorescence removal is only a temporary solution it must also be noted. Until the root cause is addressed it will keep coming back

We do. In most cases these are easy to remove with a simple Oxalic Acid application.
